In a few weeks the reunion starts
The reunion for our young people from the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia will start on 15 July in Bela Palanka in the South of Serbia. On 23 July the whole group will travel to Tuzla in the Northeast of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It will end on 1 August.
In a few weeks the participants of last year's summer camp will be meeting again. The reunion for our young people from the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia will start on 15 July in Bela Palanka in the South of Serbia. Nine counsellors and 33 youth from those seven countries are anxiously looking forward to exchange news and to deepen their friendships. In Bela Palanka at the local scout centre they will meet and do practical work together with a Roma organisation and other youth groups. On 23 July the whole group will travel to Tuzla in the Northeast of Bosnia and Herzegovina. There common workshops and some renovation work for the "House of Children without parental Help" is on the schedule. The young people have drafted the concept for the reunion on their own.
The reunion is financially partly supported by the European Union. It will end on 1 August. Thereafter it will depend on the initiative and the incentive of the young people alone to develop ideas for another get-together in the year 2008. The youth organisations which already are united in common efforts for the young people will support such intentions.
This year's reunion has been well prepared. End of April all counsellors came together in Tuzla and worked on the final preparations. This also included a visit to Bela Palanka in Serbia.
